The Wrath I Seek

I am now seeking the place I used to fear.

Desperation turns silent in here.

It is as if I have been chosen for this theft.

It is as if each attempt at help increases the rift.

Why have I chosen to adapt to danger?

The events in my memory are even stranger.

The voices I used to adore…

I am now being guarded behind a door.

Compliance is what they train.

So that we are dependent on what they force on our veins.
