The Worthless Vessel

Hollow and hopeless, I walk this land
Looking for a meaning not found
The truth ever hidden, somehow forbidden
The silence, the keeper of sound

The answers I seek, cloaked in the dark
The light, refusing to shine
This journey I'm on, remains far from home
No more, than a prisoner of time

Tho my body be weary, I keep marching on
Searching, for a hint of relief
My life unfufilling, ever disappearing
Stolen away like a thief

I travel this maze, without satisfaction
To appease, this yearning untold
Tho patience I lack, there's no turning back
While watching my future unfold

This path that I've chosen, keeps beckoning
I can hear it's hollow screams
Tho I'm nothing special, a mere worthless vessel
I'll follow my hopes and dreams
