The Worlds Music

Starting as faint whispers setting with the sun
As winding voices mingled through as one
Along the wind they brush the sky
And touch the world both low and high
Reaching fingers into hearts
That wish that they could be a part
Of the worlds music

Beginning to shiver and change its way
Reaching for the coming day
Knowing that it has spent the night
Ready for the rising light
Whispering colors and painting sound
Twirling barely all around
The worlds music

Sometimes it becomes a cacophonous hiss
As chaos abounds throughout this
And people obliviously wander on
Through life and beyond, the music’s gone
Faded again at the days dying
And humankind will wait, crying
For the worlds music
