The World Retaliates

A herd of birds and little bees,
whip through the tall oak trees
flowers grow in a different hue
a beautiful earthly view.
Gracious was the painter he,
created beauty for all to see
songs of nature sing the stream
it babbles with the rocks between.
The land whispers of a birth,
something old and new from this earth
the sun reflects and retracts
Mother nature is taking back.
We must give as we take,
to often fix what we break
but too soon it will be too late
and the world itself will retaliate.
What it gives will all be gone
The last of our loving home
the world is tired when people quit
deciding to take care of it.
