The World of Disarray

the world of disarray

The world once so clean and calm
now choked with smog and grime
ripping apart nature with tractors
and devistation from the bombs.
Then so much danger and crime.

The people that used to care as we should
for animals, flowers and even bees
and fill the air with sweet aromas of baked goods
now spending their efforts and cash
on useless items from shopping sprees

Stealing habitat from wild animals
destroying mountain sides and shores
all for the ego, pride and dollars
All this disarray make us look like fools
each generation is worse than the one before.

thank you for the kind comment. I'm sorry I didn't see it till now. The world is so messed up it's sad to think of how bad it is and how so much if not all of it could have been avoided.
