The World Expects You To Be Perfect

all the pain i feel is real
you cant tell me how to feel
this is how life seems to run
cant open my eyes to see the sun

somethings are not the same
this is how evil i have became
cant push the shame away
all the pain is here to stay

everyone expects you to be perfect
but really what are we?

you cant seem to find your way
now you have to find the words to say
you never really impressed anyone
now your life is clearly done

no one can save my life but me
i was thinking why should i even be
the days i have lived never seemed to be real
i cant see how anyone can still feel

everyone expects you to be perfect
but really what are we?

sad and moving....Nice write...in my case I expect us to be who we are, humans flesh and blood who make many mistakes...God knows our nature and freely forgives.....being famous or wealthy in life are not the nobelest of intentions..loving and caring for each other is what it is about....God bless....Old Jack
