The World

The world’s no man’s place to idle or giggle, Like Shakespeare said it’s merely a stage Where mortals appropriate their little part And dissolve into the nothingness of eternal age. It’s not a place to profess your malice and hate For that’s not the part you were sent to play, Nor is it your place to sow division or gossip For so short is your action-filled day.
