The World
Houses erected over bones and stone
Decievers seated on gilded thrones alone
Nations can crumble under such pretense
This is what happens when we lose all sense
A canopy to lie under away from the stars
Pathetically we seek cover from the sky bearing our scars
Cringe into a corner and pretend it's okay
Even when our god brings down her wrath ev'ry day
Wars are waged when devout religions clash
All too blinded by the greedy scent of cash
Everyone thinks they are right
But none are when they hide from heav'n sight
