The Worker
The worker in the Lord's harvest field
Is found with a perfect heart;
God-fearing as he always is,
From His word he won't depart.
Till the Lord second advent,
The worker remains faithful;
As he can't do anything on his own,
He always prays to reach his goal.
Having the same mind as the Son,
Who is humble and obedient;
He sets aside his personal welfare,
In trials, he stays calm and patient.
Devoted, yes, he labors even
To the point of exhaustion;
Like an athlete, he is disciplined,
Entangled not in earthly occupation.
He is a role model for good behavior,
Reverence and integrity;
Brave, he speaks the mysterious words
Of the gospel confidently.
Responsible, he looks for the lost,
Even for just a single one;
Sharing the same spirit with the leader,
The worker leaves nothing undone.
