The Wordsmith's Readers

Where would the wordsmith's of this world be, without its readers? Is what one of my commentator' informed me? I am able to answer the inquiry quite clearly, "nowhere at all." Without their reading and viewing audiences to cater to. They would be unable to earn their daily bread, much less, bring home the bacon. Even wordsmiths who write for little or no financial gratuity. Would have little, or no necessary motivation. Without it motivational speakers, would be unable to survive in the concert jungle. All because of our contemporary and capitalistic age we live in. Fondly referred to as the twenty-first century, Without readers to cater to and to aim to please. The wordsmiths, would become, part of a rapidly decreasing species. Receiving only a brief requiem for their masses in the annuals of history. As well as being noteworthy of themes for historical novels both fictional and nonfictional. And younger children, of the grade school/ elementary age. When they were given a pop quiz about the outstanding wordsmiths of their generation. Could only be able to hand back to their teachers, a blank page. Thereby receiving a failing grade. In complete noteworthy essence both the wordsmiths, their readers/ critics. Need each other to survive in this modern age. Without wordsmiths there would rapidly cease to exist. Any literary noteworthy words of artistic value. Wordsmiths would have no earthly reason to become verbose, pedantic and/or repetitious. And wordsmiths would lack sufficient motivation to be clean, clear, and concise. Stating in a few words as possible while managing in a minimal amount of space. The worthwhile noteworthy message they vainly attempt to convey. Where would the news casters be without the art of captivity brevity? They mange to speak briefly the shocking headlines of the day. Several times during the day. Magazines and newspapers tantalize their reader's eyes. Utilizing the tools of their trade. Using photographs, pictures, and words. They capture, amuse and shock their reading and/ listening audiences. Lest we forget to mention? The driving force behind the world wide web, and social media. Where would any of us be without it? Is not it something to think about? Is it not something to hold and to cherish? Lest it manages to wear a disguise and disappear before our very eyes!
