The Words of Time

Why can you not see in acting as though you are blind
 He set you free so that it would be Him that you would find
 He has laid down every single stone on this His easy road
 But you have never even grown or come to realize what is owed

 You joke about His Holy Name in building up your own pride
 Not seeing the shame, especially because for you He died
 You never take His side because you don't want to look lame
 In saying that they have all lied and life is really just a game

 Though you don't like to dwell as I can see it in your eyes
 Even the thought of hell well this thought you just despise
 But that is where you are headed if you don't know His Name
 With the enemy you are embedded and Jesus will put you all to shame

 May I suggest that you turn from your wicked ways
 And try doing your best to give Jesus His just praise
 You only have just so many days in this His test
 Just learn of His Ways and He will do all the rest
