The Word Blessing

As a disciple of jesus
I'm careful how I speak,
I endeavor to help others,
Find the peace that they seek.

I'm given the power to bless,
Intervene for another's soul,
To call on heavenly Angels,
To protect loved ones below.

When I add a "BLESSING,"
To comments at the end,
It's to God I petition,
To grant peace to family and friend.

As I meet each stranger,
Hoping to make a friend,
I may be their only Bible heard,
When our conversation ends.

So"BLESSINGS" is may request,
For God to bestow on you,
Inner peace and happiness,
The Holy Spirit in you, renewed.
