The Wonder Woman In Me

When my story becomes forgotten beneath the eyes
that dare not to know me more than who I am outside,
in every minute of every hour of my life, I will always be strong.
In my heart, there will always be a wonder woman
waiting to unfold when the rain had washed away the words off my story
and left only drips of black waters and seemingly new sheets.
Or when the sun shines brighter than my eyes can bear to open
And helps the grass stand its most upright
The wonder woman that is dormant until I need her the most
Will still unfold and become the something
That I aspire to be of every minute of every hour of my life
Because while I am busy thinking how life can be so damn unfair
Or when life brings me all the desires of my heart
Wonder woman will continue to make me strong
Humble
Kind
And
Understanding.
