The Woebegone

The Woebegone As wind begins to blow, she sobs on her bed. Is he alive or dead? She wishes so to know. Doubts fill up her head. To doom she seems bound. Wind makes a mournful sound. Snow cascading from dismal sky like her woes - piled high - buries everything on the ground. Dec. 29, 2017 for Laura Loo's 10 Lines, 5 Words: Rhyme Contest

Your have a gift in telling a story that lets the reader feel a part of what is unfolding before them. Your words play within our hearts and their magic comes alive, filling us with an overpowering feeling of sadness. Well done my friend, Emile.

You choose a topic that should have won with her. I need to read those that did cause this is hard to believe. Yi, what has death come to if it doesn't place in one of her contest? I'm so surprised. We must console each other! Love ya ... CayCay
