The Wintery Window

Sitting, I turn and stare through a window clear. All the color of what was summer grass is gone. All I see now is snow. No clouds in sight to see. A sound of quietness fills my space. I draw closer to the window to watch the snowflakes fall. Condensation takes over on the cold window, I've warmed with my breath. The beauty takes over the moment and I grow lost in time. I spend a lot of time here gazing out this window. I feel so warm inside yet frozen in time as I stare out the wintery window.
