The Winner Takes the Walk

I don't want to see your face
Every time I close my eyes
I'm tired of falling from grace
When you try and waste my time
I'm not listening to another word
Everything you ever said was so absurd
You're always there to bring me down
because you were cast down to the ground
Your fashion of lies and deceit
Will no longer work on me
So when you come around and say beware
That's when I drop a prayer
Forget when you could say "You are mine"
Cause now I walk a different line
The path of the Straight and Narrow
Is the road I choose to take
When he hung on the cross
Your war was lost
Now with every breath I have
I will walk my path
