The Wind Would Not Lose

If I could be anything
Then I would be everything
But if I really had to choose
The undying wind would not lose

I’d run and run
Not stopping for the sun
I’d be that little bit of cool
When you’re hot and near no pool

I’d make my way
Through the day
I’d whistle a happy tune
All throughout the afternoon

There would be no red light
Morning, noon, or even night
I would just continue going
Undying and forever blowing

I love this poem! I know I've read it before. Is this one that you wrote last year for Mrs. S? Love it and you, Al
