The Wind Chime, Chimes

The wind, chime, chimes
The wind chime, chimes. As my watch tells time.
Rain beats the ground, leaves scattered all around.
The trees are like me, I shed leaves of insecurity. They fall and fall.
Wind blows a chill familiar to my spine.
The street light glows giving reason to my rhyme.
I find that I'm not present at such a time.
Unexplained, unannounced. The wind chime, chimes....
