The Whisper of Her Tear

The light of day,
it came on bluebird's wings.
So, I say as they sing,
"Thank you God."
My brightest day,
given as a gift from you
was a perfect day;
all my fantasies came true.

I could see my angel
down the aisle
as I stood upon a cloud
blocking the view of all others
and the clamor of the crowd.
The angel spoke, deep within her eyes
the words I always longed to hear
of how she felt and whom she loved,
told, in the whisper of her tear.
