The Well Built Carryatid
She was the most well-built caryatid
On 5th Avenue, chosen for her width.
Her flowing robes were a concrete tree.
Statuesque and tall, she intimidated me.
She held up the porch of a large department store.
With her three concrete sisters, forever more.
Four concrete beauties, Greek architecture.
What they were thinking, I can only conjecture.
