The Weight of Illusion
Shoulders heavy
with the weight
of Buddha’s illusion,
Atlas staggers
to his grave
Silently he screams
of his elegant despair
and pictures his howls
traveling across the
emptiness
of his small space
until they reach the end
and come hurtling back
adding to the weight
of his burden
and making it heavy enough
so he can fall into the abyss
which he has so carefully dug
