The Wedding Gift
The ceremony was almost over
As they began to cut the cake
A wedding made of fairy tales
What a lovely couple they make
It's time for the bride and groom
To have their wedding dance
The bride was so enchanted
The groom in a love sick trance
The bride dressed in solid white
Someting borrowed, something blue
Showered with many wedding gifts
They decided to open a few
First they opened some crystal
And then some silverware
Then a gift for their honeymoon
Some sexy underwear
Then the groom picked up a box
They thought was surely a clock
He pulled the ribbon, the bomb went off
It felt like an aftershock
A jealous lover from her past
With revenge, inside his head
Sent the gift, a final goodbye
As the bride and groom lay dead
They found him three days later
At the bottom of the lake
A wedding made of fairytales
Has now become a wake
