The Weapon
Listen My son, lay down the gun;
You no longer have need for this type of fun.
I have a weapon which you can use;
Be wise My son and don't refuse.
This weapon I have will save a life;
Unlike a gun, baseball bat or knife.
It will make you courageous, bold and strong,
It will remove the desire to do wrong.
It will lift you up when you are feeling blue;
There isn't anything it won't do for you.
So listen closely to how it works;
'Cause it can't be operated by any jerk.
It takes much FAITH and plenty of PRAYER,
You must BELIEVE and use this weapon with Divine care.
It is quick, powerful and sharper than any two-edge sword,
It is the Divine HOLY WORD sent from the Lord.
So pick-up your new weapon (BIBLE) and read it each day;
And listen intensely to what the HOLY SPIRIT say.
Then when trouble arises from the son of perdition;
REMEMBER: This WEAPON (the WORD) will deliver you from all afflictions.
