The Weak Self

Back to what I became
Under the fear and under the game
The qualities I had to be
Fade right out and turn into me

I am now silent and dead
The thing I was is leaving your head
I thank the night for this return
The end is here, but I’m too cold to care

Sleeping on to wake into dreams
I walk along, I can’t help but see
The things that spin inside your mind
But still I know that it’s all inside

Remember me for what I have shown
Even though they’re lies I have grown
The only days I was myself
The days of pain with friends I repelled

Right through the walls and over my death
The final truth is in this world’s regret
We all just want to be one heart
But wolves still fight the sheep that we are
