The Way She Moves

The way she moves is magical,
And in her smile I see,
The girl I loved so long ago,
And the woman who now loves me

In her eyes are memories—
Deep wells of joy and pain,
That promise of good things to come,
Now that her heart has changed

In her voice is comfort found;
Her laughter makes the world seem light,
And somehow time moves faster when
I’m talking with her—day or night

The way she moves is magical—
I watch her as her love reflects
Upon the faces of her children,
Who know she’ll always love them best.
