The Way It Is

All the value of a rich mans land-
Is measured by the poor mans hand-

Proud men stand with heads in the clouds-
While the humble stand amidst the crowds-

Powerful men make plans from afar-
Stories told by a Soldier's scar-

But it doesn't matter if you may be poor-
For love isn't found in an outlet store-

Or gain respect by being proud-
With a voice that is way to loud-

And you can't win wars-
With only power whores-
