The Way I See It'

Things have really progressed since my childhood, Some changes are tremendous, some just no good. When we baby boomers were young TV has just begun, It came after the Great World War, our parents young then. In the early sixties the Vietnam War, images planted in our minds, Of wars reality, the hateful animosity, humans beings not being kind. Later in the decade the hippie movement had arrived. And some elders wondered, if their children would survive. Protests, turmoil, hatred, filled Americans hearts. As we saw our youngsters, doing drugs, breaking families apart, Some saying Communists must be stopped in it's tracks. And hate, fear, ruled the U.S., as we took a step back. In the seventies, War in southeast Asia ceased. We found ourselves reeling, from the Politician speeches. A better way, it was coming, prosperity was promised, That's what they said, it was a new decade, that was the premise. We trudged through this era, with hopes and dreams, That peace would prevail finally, That is what it seemed. The 80's Brought a new threat, speed, meth weed' Our youngsters rebelling, trying to fill the void, the need. All the time forgetting Our Father, who was watching, The nation loosing sight of Him, and moving without caution. His laws forgotten amongst parents and children, The Spiritual law, for His map to enter His kingdom. My how He must have felt, His love being spurned, While His Children followed Satan, disregarding His word. Churches, prayer meetings, all set aside. So Satan can take souls for a hard long ride. The moral decay continued well into the 90's. And homosexuality allowed, came out of hiding. Our politicians worried, about being politically correct, Corrupting our nation, Politically correct was the best. To abide and go along, to pacify the masses, saying it's ok' That was the price of doing business, The American way. Well remember our Saviour is taking His tally, To punish the nations who run down this moral valley. When His wrath comes upon us, accountable they'll be, To spend time with Satan, for all of eternity. The Lord says and commands, to keep the faith, To teach the children and keep up the moral pace. "Read the Bible as babes," He has told us, "For only the babes enter His Kingdom." do this and be blessed. Remember if our children rebel, do drugs, and lie' We as parents have to answer to God, "He'd question why?' Your responsibility is to them, teach kids their morals, You carry the burden, you are disloyal.
