The Way

Two paths that we can take,
one much more sparcely
travelled,narrow and straight.
Bright sunshine each and every day
that reveals big , burly, branches
reaching out trying to keep us at bay
or bodacious boulders blocking the way.

Somedays it takes our breath
away, it's such an uphill climb....
gets to be a grind. And yet, at the
same time,when we glance
behind and see how far we've
come,it kinda blows our mind.

On the days where we can't see
the forest for the trees, it's ok
because at least we feel free....
free to experience life as it is
really meant to be.

It's funny though,as tough
and tiring as this journey is,
we can sense that we are
not alone.There is this omni-
present force that buoys our
spirit.Yes, welcomed in......
makes us secure to the bone.

The apex beckons us as we strain
to reach new heights. And when we
arrive at the mountain top,our forever
reality we can't begin to describe.
So very glad we didn't stop and
therefore forfeit what our eyes now
so vividly see.Paradise Perfect
and just beyond.... Lake Serenity.
