The Waterlily Pond

Weeping willows betray the water
Blending too deeply, too green
You say lily, add water before
Methinks you painted a dream

Dare you dream
In a world of green
When white stark posts refuse to gleam?

Dare a foot trod upon the arch
So blissfully green as the shrubs
(Or should I say trees), and these
Cat tails that the wind rubs
Much softer though, than the trees
