The Water Is Rising

Glaciers sadly melting
oceans feed on their demise
devouring the earth
It's appetite on the rise

Moving toward catastrophe
protection no longer offered by the sky
a black hole has appeared
the human race seems committed to suicide

For man has proved so foolish
drowning in stupidity
the water is rising
soon to sweep us into the sea

Keep flowing more poetry. You've created your own stanza. It looks like choka but it's not; please name it based on 6 syllables first row, 7 syllables second row, 5 for the third, and 7 for the forth. amazing poetry. All the best.
