The Warriors

With dawn you wake up
On the piercing stones you step
Heading to the thirsty relieving waters
Searching green pastures for the tender children
The great warriors you are

I your mind a heavy load
Full of thought and at times worries
What to do, how to do and when
All for the benefit of the helpless souls
Men! The great warriors

When she is helpless
When the burden is too much to bear
To a man she looks upon
You are the pillar to a tender soul of the woman

Tears flowing down the cheeks you wipe
Like the foundation stone
Taking risks is your song of the day
To bring smile to the depressed, hope to the hopeless
Thank you
