The Warrior
The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some
understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you,
not wanting anyone to perish,
but everyone to come to repentance.
— 2 Peter 3:9 NIV
THE WARRIOR
His muscular articulating wings.
Michael’s halo in vertiginous spin —
The power of humble obedience.
Michael, the archangel, the warrior
Angel - second to the King of kings.
Not superior — blest — with pow’r and might.
He commands God’s army against Satan.
He fights the serpent who calls away men.
He hurled Eden’s tempter, the beast to earth.
Led by the Lord of all — the archangel.
His strongbox voice and trumpet choice —loud sound.
Beware sinners! The heavens call on earth.

"At that time Michael, the great prince
who protects your people, will arise.
There will be a time of distress
such as has not happened from the beginning of nations
until then. But at that time your people--everyone whose name
is found written in the book--will be delivered. — Daniel 12:1 NIV
