The War Inside
I wait on the edge of eternity
The darkness wrapped around me
Light tries to filter in
But the demons try to stop it
A waging war, ceaseless in itself
They say love conquers all
But who will win when there are two loves?
The love of the dark, and the love of the other
Each as strong as one another
And so the battle wages on
And I wait, as I must, on the edge of it all
