The Wall

For you my love another poem comes
To fill the hole left in your heart
From a past so torn apart
I try to love and love I do
To fill the hole left within you
The wall is high around you
One brick at a time I will do
With bloody hands and hopeful dreams
I tear one down for the light to be seen
Through the hole I see your face
A beautiful sight that cannot be replaced
One at a time that’s what I’ll do
To get to your heart and love you true
