The Waiting Room
Bloated and dependent awaiting within
Comes the tiresome ordeal of living without
An infant which is lifeless to the point of being
Will start to believe with the feeling of doubt.
A question of fashion is the student drop out
Asking why he is learning to become who he is not
The journey with no walkway is the obstacle course
Playing down the belief he lived for a purpose.
No waiting for excuses is the solitary hat
Laid there by the one who could no longer have heart
As vicious life circles swam through his mind
The one who sat in third lost all with the passing time.
Timeworn smiles with deep breaths taken in
As mother natures clock ticks out loud
Soon the conclusive vacation will begin
The waiting room that never closes and ceases to end.
