The Wait

You have seen her
You should know
Why ask me, she let me go
But I am past that and I don't care
To dwell on it would be unfair
Now she's happy and that is great
Perhaps to be alone is my fate
But that's okay, I'll be fine
All I really need is time
Time to heal and time to ponder
But thoughts of her can't help but wander
Around my mind until I realise that
I still love her and thats the end of that
But I don't want to feel this way
I don't want this love to stay
I don't want this love to last
So I'll just have to wait until it has past.
