The Wait

Awaiting to quench her thirst,
Doth she forlorn lie.
Whilst balky he is to burst,
Yon obstinate sky.

Interesting write..but not couplet form..this would be Awaiting rain to quench her thirst Her male conterpart was fit to burst And she did forlorn lie Beneath his dark and angry sky. Even this would not be exactly couplet for the end rhyme is not exact...the end rhyme we used is called slant/near/partial rhyme Hope this helps! Light & Love
