The Wait
When will the wait be over
It feels like forever and a day
To have the chance to hold you
And tell you I'm okay
When will the wait be over
It surely must be soon
To hear your voice and see your face
In the comfort of this room
When will the wait be over
It still seems way too long
My heart aches for your embrace
But time just marches on
