The Voice


I'm your subconscious that speaking at you night when you try to sleep,
I represent the pain you try to hide when I show you the problem you face,
The voice in your ear when you're  near the edge deep,
Trying to hide from me is impossible you must embrace,

All the guilt that holding you down Daniel,
 You try believe you're fine as your walls cave in,
I represent everything you used to love that turn your hate Daniel,
Your heart is gone as this shadow fills the void in.

You look around trying figure out why,
As the pressure builds up wanna cry?
It's hopeless to turn your back now,
I give you opportunities to fix change now I'm in this place,
I'm the ringing in your ears that doesn't go away,
The headache you get when you feel happy,
You put this aside for long,
Among the problem you're blindly to,
I'll show every minute you talk to.

I'm becoming the hate you try to fade away your emotions are speaking loudly Daniel,
Are you here or are you there wanting to cry for you know I'm right,
Reasons why you been having sleepless nights.

I'm the karma you try to out run,
The one who fills your thoughts with your flaws, imperfections, things you been blind to.

I'm the reason why your fire you have burning is going out,
Count the times you try to save,
Now this last flame you have won't last if you don't man up,
Your last opportunity to seize Daniel.

Your shoulders are about to give in if you don't,
Your twenties are about to begin,
Believe me I'll make it hell for you,
It'll get worst if you back down,
Don't play the blaming game Daniel,
Your last shot.

I'm the reason why you haven't written in five weeks,
You're becoming weak your thoughts are screaming,
The voices become louder then they are,
I'm here screaming for you Daniel wake up!!!,
How many poems do I have to create to show an audience that yourself is falling apart they believe its a tale.

Not seeing it's real you know what's the deal Daniel time to seize this last shot.
