The Visitor
I woke up to the sound of knocking on my door
Just to see my unexpected visitor
She was dazzling in dress of green
I didn't know how to begin
She was someone I've loved before
I didn't think she'd come for more
So I told her to come in
And she told me she missed my lovin'
And as I told her to just wait
I groomed to bring her for a date
It was a time for sweet romance
I didn't want to miss the chance
As we walked the peaceful street
She looked at me with her smile, so sweet
My heart was blown by her smite
So I stopped to hug her tight
My heart was jumping from my chest
I cherished that day as my best
Though time with her was lightning fast
I hoped that it was not the last
