The Visible Secret

You look into my eyes
But you don’t see my pain
I have a secret
That is visible to the naked eye
But you choose to glance at me
As you pass by
You choose to ignore the huge sign
Sprawled across my face
Echoed in my words
Don’t pretend that you don’t know
You don’t want to know
Too afraid that the pain is contagious
The visible secret
Is so visible
Stop
Listen
See
Acknowlege me and my secret
