The View Through Your Eyes

kept apart by pure polarity you inspire my solidarity I can't touch you lest I die still you're living in my eye oh dear nearly child of mine how I find you more than fine reaching out to crisscross stars to gather gumdrops and guitars as the turning world grows older I feel you standing on my shoulder watch the bright parade go by and share your view with my mind's eye
