The View I See of Bread and Drink

The View I See of Bread and Drink
By Franklin Price
4/27/2015

The view I see of bread and drink
Caresses my eyes makes me think
Confirming what my eyes have seen
Subsequent thoughts are what I glean

Bread is upright us to avail
Ice or not our drink to hail
Accommodating for varied taste
Thoughtfully prepared and not in haste

The glasses full for optimist
Bread lightly toasted I did insist
Enough for friends to partake too
Still leaves enough for me and you
