The Valley of Stars
I never said goodbye....
I reached the top
Looked down
Saw a midnight sky
In the Valley of Stars
I pulled my hand away
A trail of stars
Came too
Such liquidity
In the Valley
In me
Everything I had
Kept at bay
Seeing comets fly
Looking down
I saw a midnight sky
In a Valley of Stars
I reached down deep
and asked why
The stars that I see
Were you
Were me
In a Valley
Of midnight blue
The Valley of Stars
The welling
Of thoughts
Of stars
Of me
Looking down
Feeling you
