The Unsung Heroes

The Unsung Heroes, who do you think I am talking about?
The Unsung Heroes, do we really see them for who they are?
The Unsung Heroes, we only see them when we need them,
The men, women who give of their lives to keep us safe,
they are often misunderstood, for they are human afterall..

The Unsung Heroes, the men and women in blue,
they drive around our neighborhood, watching out for you and I,
making sure we can play outside in our yards, playing with your dog,
your kids can laugh, play, giggle at the neighborhood parks..
