The Unspoken, Unwritten Word

It’s been so long since I’ve picked up the pen
I wonder if the words will come once again
I saw not blue skies but multi colored hues
And pain inside I now could use
Power grew as I experienced and let go
The words so fast rarely stopping their flow
Beauty grew from ashes,
Are the embers still warm
If I start now will the pictures still form
Pain and fantasy, praises and mirth
Let the words come now, let me feel their worth
There’s significance and value of painting with words
Symbols on a paper that beg to be heard
A world of expression that decorated my life
I welcome you now on this magical night
