The Unforgettable Love

All these years I think of you as a memory 
But since the days have come for to me leave 
I've been thinking about what we once had 
I don't quit remember everything, only the things we did 

We were quit a couple, me and you 
we always stayed by each other no matter what 
I wish that we could be together again 
Because when we were together, I felt so wanted 
Your the only one who really cared, 
now nobody cares about what happens or not. 

You made me so happy 
you turned my frowns upside down 
you made all the bad things in my life go away. 
Now all my frowns stay down, 
all the good things in my life are gone and the bad things have come back to haunt me. 

You once protected me 
but then you turned against me.. 

I only remember these things because they are what was important 
I gave you my heart when it was broken you healed it for a while 
then you gave it back to me in a million pieces. 

I tell you again these are the only things that i remember because they are what haunts me. 
I never could imagine 
that you could ever hurt me like that 

I will take what haunts me 
and turn it so it haunts someone else 

I have told you this already 
but these are the things that haunt me 
it is what I must live by and learn by
