way of doing things
it can be a difficult
adaptation
to be ruined, defeated,or outwitted,
through trickery or deception
cheated or swindled out of something
cursed cause I failed to win
polite and less informal
won't go that route again
exhausted exploration of something else
"euchred" if they fail to win
the number of tricks they promised
tired in the literal sense
the general sense in meaning
