The Unbelieving Hearts of Believers

They are a number of believers in God but do we really believe as we say? what do we do when trouble comes? go to God or just act like lumps of clay God has provided all the very means to live for Him with faith and vigour but so often faith is lacking so very short His promises we forget, doubts get bigger remember God wants for us His best for He gave His Son to be our substitute Jesus took on our sin paying its price so we receive the ultimate fruit God calls us to believe His word all of His word every little line our problems all start with unbelief for God is love this shows His sign So work hard upon our heart keep it tender and open to His call He will draw near in a still small voice the Lord Himself shows His love to all ('Know beyond all shadow of a doubt, that you are loved unconditionally' - Anon.)

A brilliant write and I have always said I marvel at your unquestioning faith. I am God fearing and love and speak to God often. I lost my first child at 5 days old, I never questioned! But honestly? Fear death! Blessings, Jennifer.

Hi Jenny, Glad you loved it, I wouldn't say I have an unquestionable faith as I've had many bumps along the way but God's grace has kept me on the true road of faith in Christ. So sorry about losing your child so young, My mother lost her first child after a few days, thus the reason that I was adopted. I suppose we all fear death in not knowing how it will come about but having faith in God we can be assured of his assurance that we'll enter heaven on that day. Blessings, Gordon

Sometimes when things are against us we sometimes question our faith but we're slow to show gratitude when things are going our way. Hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas Gordon and May the coming new year bring you good health and happiness. Tom
