The Turning of the Page

With the turning of the page

I begin to age.

Putting on another act

I begin to re-enact.

Scenes from my life

Now riddled with strife.

What has become of me?

What is this life I live?

With the turning of the page

I age

Looking back on all I've done

I smile, I become undone.

Those pages can become brittle, yellow, worn, and still be read. I like the idea put to pen here. Keep writing. Sara
